| Be GreenerThe more time goes on, the more people are turning to greener solutions to their power requirements. This is not surprising as we come to realise the consequences of our reliance on non-renewable energy sources. Global warming will affect us all.
There are several things we can do about this. We can buy our
electricity from suppliers who make some efforts towards renewable energy
sources. Several suppliers have this option, but there are a few whose
commitment is total. These electricity suppliers offer green energy in the form
of power that is generated exclusively by renewable energy sources such as wind,
water or wave power.
We must do all we can to encourage this form of power supply and signing up to a renewable energy tariff is not necessarily more expensive than traditional sources. If we all did this it would send a clear message that we all care about the environment and are prepared to do something about it. All the previous pages on this website give hints and advice about saving money and lowering your electricity bill. Every little helps and the more energy we save, the less has to be produced and the environment will be all the better for it........
